A new hope for chronic radiation dermatitis patients as a very intersting article by Dr. Anthony Rossi and colleagues was published recently @ the journal of Laser in surgery and medicine discussing the effect of vascular laser on the quality of life in patients suffering from radiation induced breast telangiectasia where they performed a prospective study utilizing 595 nm PDL monotherqpy for female patients sufferring from chronic radiation dermatitis and achieved very promising results paving the way to additional role of laser in many aspects of dermatology and inflammatory skin disorders, also initializing new safe therapeutic option to patients suffering from chronic radiation dermatitis.
